Via Facebook’s way to retweet
Facebook have released a new little feature that is likely to have a huge impact for charities. Now when a Facebook user Shares any update from another user the shared item will carry a (Via Person Name) so everyone knows the original source.
This even works for updates you have posted to your Fan Page and should really help to boost page discovery when users share your page updates.
Users can, if they like, remove the VIA. It will be interesting to see how this affects page views. We fully expect to see an increase in fan interaction as a result of this new feature.
